Ventura County Credit Union Awards Startup Ventura a $10,000 Grant

Startup Ventura has been awarded a $10,000 grant by The Foundation of Ventura County Credit Union, the credit union’s philanthropic arm, through its annual community grant program.

VCCU is not a new name to this community or to us. The credit union has backed Startup Ventura from the start as a supporting partner and an Annual Benefit sponsor, and its foundation puts $100,000 into Ventura County nonprofits every year. This grant deepens a relationship we are proud of, with a local financial institution that puts its money where its members live.

Every dollar goes to work in Ventura County: free accelerator programming, the founder workshop series, and the community that keeps our next generation of companies building at home. Our accelerator takes no tuition and no equity, which means support like this is exactly what keeps it free for founders.

To the board and team at VCCU and The Foundation of VCCU: thank you for betting on Ventura County founders. To everyone else who wants to see what this community can build, join them.
